Sadly man, they aren't going to get much of anything for Luongo. Even if Gillis holds out it will not get much better. They will have to take a contract and a mid level prospect.
It might get to a point where, it benefits them to just release him, then take back any crappy contract because they wouldn't save much. They would be better off being done with Lu, and using the money on some Free Agents.
It sucks because Lu, is still a great goalie. |

Yeah, Brodeur is all class. that's what I think of when he passes a guy in the handshake line(even if it's Avery) or starts an extramarrital affair with his sister in law.
He's a great goalie, one of the top 5 all time, but lets not go overboard on him.
He will do what is best for him when all is said and done. |

Anything done towards Avery should not be held against the person that does it. That guys a waste of skin.
Worst part is if he dropped his attitude he could have been a decent hockey player. |
